Introduction

Directed by Aadil Palkhivala and Mirra, The College of Purna Yoga teacher training programs offer extraordinary holistic training in alignment-based asana, pranayama, Purna Yoga Meditation, anatomy, therapeutics, nutrition, yogic living, ethics, business and marketing.  It is based on the premise that in order to be an inspiring teacher, one must first be an inspired practitioner.  Not only does The College of Purna Yoga offer you the finest professional development available for yoga teachers, but the personal development you will experience, and the results it will make in your life, will be unsurpassed.

The College of Purna Yoga is delighted to announce a new structure for its teacher training program.  Beginning in 2008, we will offer three levels of teacher training and certification:
  • A 200-hour level
  • A 500-hour level
  • The Purna Yoga Certificate level

These wonderful new programs will allow you, the student, to move through the levels of training with a schedule that best suits your goals and needs.  It will be easier for you to participate since you can choose the program that works best for you.

The College of Purna Yoga is a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance and is the first and only Washington State-licensed Vocational School for yoga teachers.  We trust you will soon discover that there truly is no other Teacher Training College like it.

We hope you will join us in discovering the inherent richness of living from the heart of yoga.  At this most auspicious time in human history, there is no more valuable contribution we can make.

While we are designing the new structure, The College of Purna Yoga in its current structure (the two-year, 1,700 hour program) is not accepting any new students.

Please continue to check this website, call (425-746-7476) or email kirsten@yogacenters.com so that we may send you the catalog with all the details of the new courses - starting in 2008 - as soon as they are available.  We thank you in advance for your patience!

In the meantime, students eager to continue in Purna Yoga™ may wish to visit www.aadil.com to see where Aadil Palkhivala and Mirra are teaching Purna Yoga™, around the country and around the world.  In addition, you may also want to attend teacher trainings and asana intensives at Yoga Centers with Select Senior Purna Yoga™ Instructors and Aadil.
